20 Years of Humanitarian Service

Rahbar Trust started in 1995 when we came across a laborer whose floor polishing machine broke and he needed $120 to get it fixed. Due to the fact that he could not work, his household was without income for more than two weeks. He was forced to beg and approached us for some charity. Just looking at this very healthy person, it did not sound appropriate to give him charity. As an idea we decided to offer him interest free loan with condition to return it in equal installments. He was able to pay back the loan within 6 months and became a great source of inspiration for all of us. Since then fee and interest free loans like this have helped hundreds of families out of poverty.

Today, we are a registered charity in the United Kingdom, United States and in Pakistan. We take pride in the fact that Rahbar Trust is among very few charities in the world where 100% of the charitable proceeds go to help the poor and needy.

Rahbar Trust strives to meet the needs of the deserving communities across the globe and help them break the circle of poverty. In the United States, Syrian Refugee Camps in Jordan and remote villages of Pakistan and Gambia, west Africa, our dedicated team members provide access to basic health needs, empower refugees and women, and offer financial support to achieve self-reliance.

Our wellness centers in Pakistan provide clean water facility, excellent primary care services (including ECG and basic ultrasound), free medicines, vaccination and food distribution at time of crisis like Covid.
