Read. Read in the name of thy Lord who created.
Al-Quran [96: 1-2]
In this era of computers where most of our time is consumed in front of screens, the habit of book reading is fast vanishing. Rahbar Trust is promoting book reading by establishing a free-standing library, working on the idea of “Take a book- Leave a book”. All genres of books, except those containing divisive, controversial, offensive and racist content, are allowed. The facility is maintained by Rahbar Trust volunteers.
On October 28th, 2018, the mayor of West Windsor and community members inaugurated the first library at the Princeton Junction train station in New Jersey. In addition to encouraging book reading among individuals, Rahbar Trust aims to promote harmony among community members.
